Just like sharp scissors, sharp razors and sharp skills… a sharp wardrobe keeps me inspired, motivated and helps be become a better barber.
(Women’s Hairdressing) Buster Boyd: Become a Better Barber.
I got an itch to revisit women’s hairdressing. So I did.
I’ve said it time and time again. Keeping in touch with women’s hair techniques makes me a more complete professional. There is a lot to gain for any barber who takes the time to maintain their chops when it comes to cutting/coloring/styling women’s hair.
Think about it: Men’s hair… Girls’ hair… it is the same canvas that we work on either way. It’s all about skills and practice. We have everything to gain.
Some of my favorite haircuts. I’ve heard this style referred to as: “Ivy League” hair. I think that is a pretty great description. The British/Scholarly/Athlete. Variations on a theme. If you are looking do try something new with your coiffure, this is a great place to start.
A bit of advice: Feel free to take a picture with you to the barber shop. It always helps to get you both on the same page.
